Trevor Cornish is a Vancouver-based commercial director and photographer with nearly three decades in the film industry. Self-taught, he worked his way up through music video and commercial production — from PA to assistant director, production manager, producer, and eventually broadcast producer at an advertising agency — before stepping behind the camera as a director in 2000.

Since then, Trevor has built an internationally recognized body of work. His commercial campaigns have earned awards at One Show, the Art Directors Club, the London International Advertising Awards, the New York Advertising Awards, Eurobestlive, the Bessies, and the Marketing Awards, and he has received six Cannes Lions nominations. He has directed video game content for EA Sports and television episodes for National Geographic UK/Discovery Channel's "Mayday" and the HBO/Cinemax series "Lingerie."

His short film "Roland" premiered at TIFF and screened at over a dozen film festivals worldwide. He has also co-written the horror/comedy "Ghostpuncher" and the feature drama "In the Sand."

Trevor's photography carries the same cinematic sensibility that defines his film work. What began as a passion has grown into a parallel career — one informed by a lifetime of visual storytelling and a deep understanding of light, composition, and character. His still work spans commercial and portrait photography, and reflects the same attention to craft he brings to everything he shoots.
